Privacy Policy

CapyCore Games Studio ("CapyCore," "we," "us," or "our") is a studio project of Mission Street Collaborative LLC, an Alabama limited liability company, operating under the trade name CapyCore Games Studio. We develop and publish mobile games for Apple iOS and operate the website at capycore.games. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, our games, and our newsletter (together, the "Services").

Information you give us. If you subscribe to studio updates, we collect the first name and email address you type into the form. If you send us a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message so we can reply.

Information collected automatically by our games. Our games are designed to run without accounts and without collecting personal information. Game progress, high scores, and settings are stored on your device. If a game feature ever requires collecting data beyond this, we will disclose it in the App Store privacy label for that game and update this policy before the feature ships.

Information collected automatically by our website. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.

Information from Apple. If you download a game from the App Store, Apple may provide us with aggregate, non-identifying reports about downloads, crashes, and ratings. We cannot identify individual users from these reports.

• We do not sell or rent personal information. Ever.
• We do not share personal information with data brokers.
• We do not use personal information for cross-app or cross-site behavioral advertising, and we do not engage in tracking as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
• We do not knowingly collect more information than we need to run the Services.

• To send studio updates and new-game announcements you asked to receive.
• To respond to your messages, questions, bug reports, and feedback.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our games and website.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (for the newsletter), our legitimate interests (to answer your messages, keep our Services secure, and improve our games), and legal obligation where applicable.

Our games are family-friendly and we take children's privacy seriously. We design our games so that they do not require an account, do not request personal information, and do not include third-party advertising or behavioral tracking.

Our website's newsletter and contact form are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) through those forms. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us through the contact form and we will delete it promptly.

We intend our practices to be consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code, and Apple's requirements for apps directed at children.

We use a small number of trusted vendors to run the Services, including a website and database hosting provider that stores newsletter signups and contact form submissions, and Apple, which distributes our games through the App Store. These providers may process your information only to provide services to us, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

We may also disclose information if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of CapyCore, our users, or the public.

We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and maintain a reasonable record of support history, then delete them. Technical logs are retained for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and database rules that prevent public reading of submitted messages and email addresses. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the appropriate authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws, as well as residents of the EEA, UK, and Canada, have these or similar rights.

• Unsubscribe: use the unsubscribe link in any studio update email.
• Access or deletion: ask us through the contact form and we will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 30–45 days).
• Non-discrimination: we will never penalize you for exercising a privacy right.

Because we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.

CapyCore is based in Huntsville, Alabama, United States, and our vendors may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information out of the EEA or UK.

Our website and games may link to third-party sites and services, such as the Apple App Store. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to read them.

We may update this policy as our games and studio evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify newsletter subscribers. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
